My stay at Cooinda Lodge was quite an experience! The location is absolutely perfect for exploring Kakadu National Park, and the room we had was comfortable with a nice outdoor area. The dining options were enjoyable, but I felt they could use more variety. While I appreciated the facilities, particularly the swimming pools, the price I paid seemed a bit high for what was offered.

Dining at the lodge was nice, but I think they could expand the menu with more gluten-free options, especially for breakfast.

I had a fantastic experience at the resort, especially enjoying the unique flashcamp tents that were surprisingly comfortable. The area provided great dining options and an inviting pool. However, the tents did get quite hot during the day, which was a bit uncomfortable at times. The only downside was the brightness of the overhead lights in the lodge rooms, which could use some improvement.

Rooms
9.0
The flashcamp tents were spacious and cozy, equipped with good-quality inner spring beds and plush linen. Although they could get hot in the afternoon, they were quite enjoyable overall.

Cooinda Lodge is a fantastic base for exploring Kakadu National Park, with spacious and comfortable rooms and great amenities like two swimming pools. However, my experience was marred by a booking error that resulted in a frustrating start to our trip. The dining options were also decent but could be improved during busy times. Overall, the location is ideal for adventures, but the service didn't meet expectations during our arrival.

We had a lovely two-night stay at the Lodge. The room was quite spacious and comfortable, and being able to use the community laundry was a nice touch. However, the dinner options were average and a bit pricey, especially for the fish and chips. Overall, it was a nice place to relax, but there were aspects that could be improved.

Rooms
8.0
The room was spacious and had good facilities. It was comfortable, though the shower was a little small.
Service
7.0
The service was generally good, but the price for the food was on the higher side without matching the quality.
Location
9.0
The Lodge has a great location with easy access to a large camping ground and the small swimming pool was enjoyable.
Dining

Dining was a mixed experience; while breakfast was simple, dinner did not impress, particularly the fish and chips from the on-site caravan.
Facilities
8.0
The Lodge offers good facilities, particularly the smaller swimming pool and laundry services.

Cooinda Lodge offers a great stay in the heart of Kakadu National Park, with comfortable rooms and excellent service. The pools are enjoyable, although they could benefit from more shade, and the dining options lack vegetarian choices. It's a busy spot, so be sure to book in advance to secure your stay.

Rooms

The cabins we stayed in were very comfortable, featuring minimal furniture but equipped with a small refrigerator. It was nice to fall asleep to the sounds of nature outside.
Service
7.0
The service was overall quite good, with friendly and helpful front desk staff. However, during peak times, they seemed a bit slow.
Location
8.0
The lodge is situated beautifully within Kakadu National Park, making it perfect for nature lovers. However, it can get quite crowded, so booking in advance is essential.
Dining
6.0
Dining at the restaurant was decent, but I found the lack of vegetarian and vegan options disappointing.
Facilities
7.0
The lodge has two pools, which are great but could use more shaded areas to provide relief from the heat. The overall facilities were well-maintained.
